In 1892, the company Caffè Hausbrand was founded by Hermann Ernest Hausbrandt who had an idea that reflected the spirit of the times: he wanted to give private individuals easy access to roasted coffee. At the end of the 19th century, it was already possible to buy coffee for your own household – but it was still in its raw state.
Roasting it yourself was the order of the day – families had no other option. Hausbrandt was the first manufacturer to bring freshly roasted coffee to the market, sealed in a metal container.

Hausbrandt brand is now recognised worldwide and is represented in over 70 countries. The company headquarters are now located in Nervesa della Battaglia in north-east Italy. Caffè Hausbrandt holds a leading position in the national and international coffee industry. Today, the traditional company is managed by Martino Zanetti.
